This will be short - didn't spend a lot of time taking photos. But, those of us who were there did spend a lot of time chatting. I think that's my favorite part of this event. It's the only time we have that much time together where we can just talk.
I didn't get photos of everyone or close photos, but this is who went:
Me, Suzette, Sandy, Carolyn, Betty, Bob, Denise, Mike, Julia
Just like last year (really need to remember this if we go again next year) - it was very cold to start out!! Note, hands in pockets, warm clothing, etc.

Oh Carolyn, I had to include one of last year for you -- you'll see why when I do 😉!
| Suzette in the tent, Julia in black plus various easels belonging to the rest of us. |
| Betty |
Betty, Bob & Mike went off to the left and a bit away from the crowd. Guess they were actually interested in painting -- hmmm, imagine that. Although Bob was closest to the rest of us.

Suzette decided to take a few photos for future use -- I'm guessing here, because I know this wasn't her spot.

Denise took a few breaks -- she looks so comfortable and, of course, she's smiling!

Suzette decided to stay close to the tent she brought -- Thanks for bringing it Suzette!!

By the way, it did get very warm in the sun and everyone who could shed outer layers.
Sandy opted to cross the little roadway for her spot. She wanted a view of that guy (scarecrow or whatever he is) in the wagon (see top photo).

Here's Mike on is way down to get some of the food that was provided for the volunteers and those who had booths. Even though we don't have an actual "booth" we did have a designated area with cones that had Plein Air Painters on it.

A couple of us did take a walk down to the water just to have a look/see. It wasn't flowing quite as heavily as it does at other times but people still managed to have some fun in it. At this point we were also feeling the heat of the sun and started thinking it might be nice to stick our feet in it! (We didn't)
You see when we got there, Carolyn didn't have a chair - she said she only brought a towel to sit on 😮 --- That didn't sound comfortable besides the fact that there are all those burrs that get stuck in our shoes. But, she told me that last year she remembers that she sat on the ground.

Pretty funny looking ground you're sitting on Carolyn! Fortunately, as I was leaving my studio in the morning I turned around and saw that little fold up stool I have and thought "Oh, I should just bring it" - you see I already had a chair that was packed and didn't need it. So, the little stool saved Carolyn's butt!
Well, that's it for this year. We never get around to doing group photos, some did multiple paintings, some did one. All chatted and laughed!!
'Till Tuesday!
