Early morning at Lover's Knoll always gives you a dramatic silhouette; this morning didn't fail us.
I was the first to arrive and some tourists were coming up behind me - parents with children. They saw me set up and said "Oh look, she's going to paint". They became very intrigued, the father asked if I sell what I paint, Me - "sure" 😊, but then asked if I had a website. Fortunately, Pete was just reaching the top of the hill when I pointed to him and said, well I don't, but I believe Pete sells paintings on his site. So an exchange of info then occurred. Hopefully, he'll get in touch with Pete. Sometimes it pays to be early!
Pete picked a spot next to me.

Anna arrived next. Here she is as she spotted some other painters on the way up --- anyway, I'm assuming that's who she's waving at.
Then along came Gail.

And, SHE said (now it sounds like I'm going to spread some rumor she told me, everyone on the edge of their seat?), well, as I was saying, she said there were other artists down below. Oh, ok, really glad to hear, but you all are now probably disappointed it wasn't some juicy tidbit 😉.
So, let's see who some of those other artists were:

It's my understanding that Pat was around there someplace too -- but I couldn't locate her from the top.
And who do we have here, someone who wandered up the other path.

| Nori |
Nori wandered over toward where a few others found their spots.

This artist has taken to hiding when she arrives, so I can't quite place her "time of arrival" -- you guessed it, it's Timestamp Nita (Nita 1).

Oh that's funny, if you look at the above picture, it almost looks like she's being interviewed, so serious.
This next pic looks like someone set it up and just said "Would you just stand over there and pretend your painting" - Well, the truth is, she was painting and not posing while getting some fantastic color with pastels.

And, for some perspective on where a lot of them were standing in relation to one another.

The plus to a location where most of us are not to widely dispersed is we get to have conversations.
As Pete started working on his painting I noticed something different, while he was still working with his oils - his painting was really loose and had a flow similar to watercolor. He said he wanted to change things up a bit, and he did. While his paintings always look great, this just had a real fun look to it.

Just one more with the perspective of people's spots with a few more people added.

Great photo of Anna at work hiding behind Pete's setup - I'm sure you all recognized her immediately. Oh, here's one where she's a bit more identifiable.| Front Right Edge - Anna The rest you saw above |
Well, we had just one person who didn't join us at the top until the very end, that's Pat and you won't get to see her until the group photo. But, before that we have our great gallery. Love, this location for multiple reasons and one of which is it provides us with this great tree to hang all our paintings.
OK, now for where we all smiled on 2 with a shake.

See, I told you Pat would show up at the end!
Well, that's it for this morning -- what a gorgeous one it was and a super location. Till next time!
