Plein Air Tuesday - 12/2/25 - The Place That's Pretty When There's Water In It - Day 2

 

Gail was the first to arrive and she already made a friend, she said he nibbled on her hand - oh my!

This is a spot that people frequently trailer their horses too.  We saw 3 in total this day, 1 of them also had 5 dogs with him.

So, something I never knew, the fender of the trailer can be used to get on the horse.

Ok, back to the artists.

So, Bonny is new to joining us although she's been on the list for a little while, she found us through Pam who never seems to join us anymore either.  But, nice of Pam to send her along.

As you can see, Mike joined us with his studio on his shoulders.

I caught her just as she dropped something so she is looking down -- but, that's her and boy talk about being "right on time", that might have been a first!

Pete pulled in soon after.

 So, we then all headed down through the gate and fortunately the mud from last week was dried up.

Ok, I'm not positive that first person is Gail, guess you couldn't use this photo for id.  After the number of photos I've taken of everyone over the years, you'd think I'd start catching some better candid ones.  Guess I really need to try harder.

Oh here's another good one. 

It's Pete 

I know for sure it's Pete as I remember taking that photo and when I zoomed in, it was obviously him.  

Nori, showed up shortly after we arrived.   And, of course, another great photo where the person is readily identifiable.

Nori painted somewhere near where Mike was in view.  I know this because she sent me a pic of him in his spot.

Oh, and you can see that the water pretty much had dried up, I guess that's a good thing otherwise Mike might have floated downstream.

We headed back up to the rock pile (such a lovely location), and used it as a wall for our gallery.

We did all talk and discuss I don't know what, but eventually the group realized it was time to smile on 2.

It did warm up a lot and it was definitely warm standing in the sun and Bonny clearly had a very sunny spot.
