Plein Air Tuesday - 9/10/24 - Lower TAPCO RAP - Day 2

 

I arrived with Suzette & Nita2 and found Ed and Pat waiting for us.  Yes, Ed was able to join us again and  Pat made it out, another person we haven't seen in a while.

Mike then pulled in and Ed put his hat on (bet you recognize him now).

We then headed down the path(s) - there is more than one way down.

There are a few different places that are practical for using as spots, Mike is evaluating this one.  I know you're probably thinking, geez they all look the same.  Well, it is a lot of green and muddy water, but there are subtle differences.

So, Suzette, did a bit of wandering back and forth and eventually went in the other direction.

Speaking of wandering -- look at who we have here.

Sophie

Yup, that's Sophie the wanderer and she stuck true to her name.  But, after all her wandering her spot wound up being near a few others.

Below you will see that she was right near Ed, Carolyn & Tecla - although Ed is hiding her in this photo.

Also right near these 4 was Nita2 in her spot, she went around some shrubbery.

Here is Suzette in her spot.  She was in the other location with Nori -- we'll just call that the "pastel spot"

Aha, I found her, Timestamp Nita (otherwise now known as Nita1) I'm giving her an 8:35 -- ahem, meet up time was 7:30.  Here's a better pic of those 2.

Tecla looks surprised to see me taking a picture, guess I'm usually a little better at sneaking up on them. Pat found a spot off to the side on her own.

For some reason my spot is always missing its person, hmmm 🤔.  But, Nita1 found a spot and it seems that Tecla was following her around and still talking.

As you can see, Timestamp Nita was trying to make up for lost time as she was working on 3 paintings AT ONCE! (show off 😉)

Our friendly Ambassador Heather from last week also came by.  She was called away quickly though by some other visitors.

We were already starting to gather to look for a place to build our gallery.  But, as we started looking around, we had someone else show up. She said she was a little late (little bit of an understatement).  It was Gail and she really wasn't sure about the location but I believe she'll join us a little earlier next week.

They all seemed to be listening to and watching someone who it appears was saying something entertaining.  Well, while they were all laughing the rest of us built the gallery and somehow we made it all fit.  The surrounding trees were very accommodating.

With so many of us, it wasn't easy trying to get everyone to stop chatting long enough to hear it was all time to smile on 2!  But eventually everyone realized what was happening.

It's not easy trying to determine just what row it looks like people are in, hopefully you're all able to figure it out so that when you seem them in the grocery store you can say Hi!
